The officers of Vake-Saburtalo Police Division of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative-search and investigative activities detained previously convicted L.K. (DoB 1980) for the attempted murder.
The committed crime envisages the term of imprisonment from 7 to 15 years.
Investigation established that detainee inflicted injury with a cold steel to E.D. (DoB 1991) in throat area and fled from the place of crime. The incident took place on pedestrian bridge, located on Marshal Gelovani Avennue.
The weapon of crime- knife, was seized as evidence by the police officers during the search activities held in detainee’s apartment.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder envisaged by the article 19-108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
