The officers of Gldani-Nadzaladevi Division and the officers of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of jointly held operative and investigative activities detained in Tbilisi Z.G. (DoB: 1972) for premediated murder and robbery. The crime committed envisages imprisonment from 7 to 15 years in length.
The investigation established that the offender on Fenruary18, in L.Lagurashvili Street, Tbilisi, on the basis of a conflict wounded with a cold arm G.Ch. (DoB: 1960). Due to the received injuries the victim died at the place of crime. Later Z.G. stole household appliances from the house and fled from the crime scene.
Law enforcers managed to detain the offender several hours later in Tbilisi. Stolen items were seized by Police as material evidences.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder and robbery, article 108 and article 177 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
