The officers of Mestia Regional Division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained in Chuberi M.G - date of birth: 1990 - for violation of the inviolability of another’s property using violence. The crime committed by him envisages the term of imprisonment from 4 and 6 years.
The investigation found that the accused, being under the influence of alcohol, invaded in the territory of the Italian Company “Salini Impregilo” in Chiberi village, fired from automatic firearm and fled away.
Law enforcers detained the offender several hours after the incident. The police seized the weapon - automatic firearmს– as evidence.
The accused has admitted his fault.
Investigation is in progress on illegal purchase, storage, carrying of firearms and ammunition and unlawful entry into or any other act in a domicile or any other property against the will of its owner which violates the inviolability of the domicile or any other property, the crimes envisaged by the 2nd and 3rd parts of the article 236 and the subparagraph “a” of the 2nd part of the article 160, the Criminal Code of Georgia.
