The officers of Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs solved seven facts and prevented 1 fact of robbery last week in Batumi. Two persons were detained: G. I. (DoB: 1988) and V.K. (DoB: 1990).
The investigation established that the offenders stole 2 cameras, 2 TVs, video recorder, various personal belongings and plastic cards from the vehicle belonging to the citizen of Batumi; also they misappropriated 2 external video surveillance cameras installed on one of the houses. One of the detainees stole a bicycle from the balcony of the first floor; the same individual is also accused of laptop robbery.
The second offender was detained by law enforcers at the time when he was trying to steal a bicycle from a storeroom of a citizen.
The law enforcers seized the stolen items as material evidences.
The investigation is progress on the fact of attempted robbery and robbery (Articles 177 and 19-177 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
