The solemn event dedicated to the Independence Day of Georgia will start tomorrow at 11:00 on the central square of Mtskheta.
Information and exhibition banners will be presented by various departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as special equipment of the Patrol Police Department, the Emergency Situations Management Service, the Border Police and the Special Tasks Department as well as Border Police helicopter.
Citizens will be able to get familiarized with the steps taken by the agency in the direction of European integration, in accordance with European standards and successful reforms in the various information zones presented by the units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Visitors will be met at the main entrance of the exhibition space by a simulated border-immigration control point of the patrol police, where they will undergo "border control" procedures, receive an information map of which zones they should visit.
The citizens in Mtskheta, who came to the event, will have the opportunity to listen to the real calls received at the Emergency Response Center "112" at the "Call of Life" stand. Also, get acquainted with the introduced services of "112" using modern technologies.
In the central exhibition space, the guests will see the stands, where materials reflecting the Georgian-European relations and the history of independent of Georgia will be placed.
A number of thematic information-cognitive activities are planned for children, and following entertainment spaces for them:
➢ Service agency will host small visitors in a mock city and offer them a fun test to get a bicycle driver's license;
➢Forensic-Criminalistics department will arrange a simulated scene; children will be able to learn in detail how to take fingerprints;
➢ Border Police will present 2D model of the Coast Guard vessel;
➢ Security Police will arrange a simulated guarded house for the little guests and offer a variety of fun cognitive activities;
➢ Emergency Management Service will present an information-cognitive show with the participation of firefighters;
➢ Emergency Response Center "112" offers teenagers to participate in computer games created specially for them, using modern technologies, from which they will learn how to behave in an emergency. The winners will be awarded with special prizes.
The event will end with an evening concert.
