The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Aleksandre Darakhvelidze attended the closing event of the project - "Supporting the Unified Service Center and Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to Strengthen their Organizational Capacities for Improved Public Service Delivery" implemented with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Government of the United Kingdom.
The event was held at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where the Deputy Minister summarized the implemented activities and emphasized the challenges and progress achieved within the framework of the project.
Deputy Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Georgia, Anna Chernyshova delivered the opening speech and congratulated the beneficiaries on the successful completion of the project. The invited guests were also addressed by the representative of the British Embassy in Georgia - Ellen Wichmann and the Director of the Innovations and Reforms Center - Giorgi Gabrielashvili.
A summary video on project activities and achieved results was also presented at the event.
The project was carried out within the initiative - "Supporting the Public Administration Reform (PAR) in Georgia, Phase 2" implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) with the support of UK aid.
The project aimed to strengthen the organizational capacity of the Unified Service Center and the Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, through efficient and inclusive delivery of human-centered public services.
