Deputy Ministers of Internal Affairs-Archil Talakvadze and Levan Izoria held meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine Vasil Tsibenko. Ambassador congratulated Archil Talakvadze with the appointment and wished him success. At the meeting sides discussed issues of cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of Georgia and Ukraine, ongoing reforms of Georgia and prospects for sharing experience in the field of reforms.
At the meeting special emphasis was made on those MIA units which are experienced in project planning and implementing reforms and currently work on several projects under the guidance of the Minister of Internal Affairs. Dialogue on cooperation will be resumed in February 2015.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Vasil Tsibenko also stated that Georgian is one of the major supplier of humanitarian aid for Ukraine.
