Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Nino Javakhadze held a meeting with the Police Attachs and Liaison Officers on Migration of the EU Member States in Georgia. The aim of the meeting was to jointly discuss issues related to visa-free travel with the EU.
The Deputy Minister emphasized Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations and expressed appreciation towards the EU Member States for their firm support to country's European integration process.
Nino Javakhadze pointed out the measures undertaken in response to the challenges related to visa-free regime and expressed readiness to further deepen the police cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the EU Member States.
The EU Police Attachs and Liaison Officers on Migration of the EU Member States shared the information on current challenges concerning the citizens of Georgia in respective countries. They have highlighted the significance of measures undertaken by the Ministry in order to ensure successful continuation of visa-free travel.
