The head of NATO Liaison Office in Georgia William Lahiu and the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Archil Talakvadze discussed the final details of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reform. The meeting with NATO Liaison Office representatives aimed at highlighting functions separation, accountability mechanisms, further enhancement and support of antiterrorism and analytical functions and other topics. The meeting was also attended by the Head of Reforms and Development Agency under MIA Irakli Beraia, the Head of Legal Department of MIA Zviad Okropiridze and representative of International Relations Department Nino Gakharia.
Deputy Minister expressed gratitude for support towards the head of NATO Liaison Office in Georgia and highlighted the importance of close cooperation with NATO.
