All investigative agencies of Georgia cover structural units of Ministries which conduct investigation according to their jurisdictions, in particular: Ministry of Internal Affairs, General Prosecutor’s Office, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Corrections and Ministry of Finances.
The attached presentation includes the definition of the registered crime according to integrated electronic criminal proceedings statistic module and also includes it’s superiority in comparison with the method of calculation before 2012.
Presentation covers increasing and decreasing tendencies of the crime from 2012 up to date, according to monthly results. Paragraphs depicting development of certain crime dynamics which generally affect the criminogenic situation are allocated separately: premeditated murder, attempted murder, causing severe health injury, illegal restriction of freedom, abduction, stealing, robbery, armed assault and drug-related crime.
Presentation graphically reflects comparative trend of crime development by months, registered by the MIA territorial units according to their jurisdiction and published by the same agency as well as criminal cases registered by all investigative agencies of the country.
