Under the invitation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia Mr. Giorgi Mghebrishvili, the chief of Police of The Republic of Armenia, Mr. Vladimir Gasparyan paid and official visit to Georgia. Minister of Internal Affairs and chief of Police of The Republic of Armenia have laid a wreath on the memorial of the policemen fallen in the line of duty located in the yard of the Ministry.
At the meeting the parties have discussed existing bilateral cooperation between Georgia and Republic of Armenia in law enforcement field. Parties touched upon the issue related to reforms recently implemented within the Ministry as well as ongoing and scheduled activities. Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia and chief of Police of the Republic of Armenia discussed the importance of the joint struggle against various types of crimes, possibilities for development of the cooperation in this direction and expressed their hope to further enhance the cooperation in the law enforcement sphere.
Previous meeting between the ministers was held in Yerevan, Armenia on December 2014.
