Within the frames of the CEPOL European Police College exchange program representatives of Ministry of Interior for Human Resources General Directorate of Moldova paid visit to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. The visit is aimed at enhancing cooperation between the agencies and sharing experience.
At the meeting sides discussed staff policy, professional and high police education, project coordination, international law enforcement cooperation and issues connected with implemented reforms.
Meetings were also held with representatives of the MIA International Relations Department and Development Agency, MIA Academy, Service Agency, Operative Response Center 112 and Civil Service Bureau of Georgia.
Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have been involved in the CEPOL exchange program since 2013. Within the frames of the program visits are carried out with the law enforcement agencies of the partner countries to discuss cybercrime, illegal migration, trafficking and police training system issues.
