Within the frames of the visit of Mr. Alexander Lukashenko, the President of the Republic of Belarus, to Georgia, the delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus headed by the Minister, Mr. Igor Shunevich, paid visit to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. Ministers of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Republic of Belarus laid a wreath on the memorial located on the territory of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and commemorated the fallen police officers.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Mr. Vakhtang Gomelauri, hold official meeting with his Belarusian counterpart. At the meeting sides discussed mutual cooperation issues.
Within the frames of the meeting, the Ministers signed following three international legal instruments: the agreement on cooperation in the sphere of combating crime, the readmission agreement and its implementing protocol.
