The car fleet of the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was renewed with 20 new off-road vehicles of the "Renault" brand.
The Director of the Patrol Police Department - Vazha Siradze, along with the leadership of the main divisions of Mtskheta-Mtianeti and Imereti, inspected the new vehicles and got familiarized with their technical characteristics.
Off-road vehicles will be distributed in Mtskheta-Mtianeti and Imereti regions at this stage.
The purpose of upgrading the patrol police car fleet is to improve working conditions for patrol inspectors, to increase the effectiveness of their activities, and to promote crime prevention.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs updates the fleet of various units on the regular basis, including the Patrol Police Department, with contemporary police vehicles, and this process will continue in the future.
