The employees of Zugdidi police division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate and complex investigative and operative measures detained S.G. (DoB 2004) on charges of theft.
The committed crime envisions from 6 to 10 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that the accused person stole mobile phones and a wrist watch from the "Elite Electronics" store located in Zugdidi.
Law enforcement officers, as a result of the personal search of the detainee, seized stolen items - 32 mobile phones, manufactured by different companies and a wrist watch as evidence.
The accused person is also accused of robbing the same store few days earlier.
The investigation is being conducted in accordance with article 177, part II, subparagraph "b", part IV, subparagraph "B" of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
