The officers of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-investigative activities, detained G.J. (DoB 1974) for damaging bus and inflicting health injury to one of the passengers.
Committed crime envisages up to three years of imprisonment.
Investigation established that on August 6, in Shua Kvaloni village, Khobi municipality, detainee threw a stone to the bus moving from Zugdidi to the direction of Tbilisi, as a result of which, one passenger was injured as well as the front window of the bus was damaged. Police detained G.J. several days after the crime took place in Khobi, on the basis of the court decision. Regarding the mentioned fact, investigation is in progress under the article 187 I part and article 126 I part of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
