The officers of Samtskhe-Javakheti Regional Main Division, along with Borjomi-Bakuriani forestry department, as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of operative information, exposed Ilia L. (DoB 188) for illegal cutting of timber.
The detainee illegally cut timber in Borjomi-Tori forest sector. Law enforcers managed to seize illegally cut timber loaded on the truck.
The amount of damage inflicted to nature amounted to 1026 GEL.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal cutting of timber, article 303 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
