Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili along with Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Mgebrishvili opened new 112 Center in Rustavi. The event was attended by members of the Georgian government, representatives of international organizations, private and non-governmental sectors.
New “112” center was created in compliance with the best international experience and standards. Rustavi “112” center will be operation in round-the-clock regime and cover all regions of the country. Center is aimed at continues operation to discharge the amount of work of Tbilisi 112 center.
“For ensuring maximal security for the citizens and making the existing services better, Ministry of Internal Affairs is oriented on constant technical development. In order to have higher standards of response on every challenge, another 112 center of Rustavi will start operation beginning from today. 112 Center is a strategic object which connects citizens to rescue services in the time of need. Thus smooth and uninterrupted operation of 112 Center is utterly important for the country”-stated head of 112 center, Giorgi Bitchashvili.
Newly constructed 112 building is fully equipped with the latest computer technic and provides special work environment for individuals with special needs. Anti-stress rooms will ease the process of work for the personnel. 112 Center is also provided with training center for operator-dispatchers.
At the opening ceremony guests were acquainted to planned and implemented innovative projects in 112 Center. Guests were introduced to innovative projects, infrastructure and attended first call-receiving process.
