Delegation of the Ministry of Interior of Poland paid an official visit to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Within the framework of the visit, Polish side will present the Eastern Partnership Police Cooperation Programme. The project is planned for 4 years and is coordinated by the Republic of Poland.
The Programme aims to strengthen contacts between the EU and the Eastern Partnership countries and envisages strengthening of cooperation with the EU and among the Eastern Partnership countries, experience sharing and harmonization and standardization in the police field.
Meetings will be attended by the Director of International Relations Department, Mr. Shalva Kvinikhidze, Director of the Central Criminal Police Department, Mr. Ivane Papiashvili, Rector of the MIA Academy, Mr. Nukri Gelashvili, Director of the Reform and Development Agency and by the pertinent experts from the mentioned department.
The visit lasts until 3 July.
