In order to fulfill recommendations and decisions of the Interagency Coordinating Council of the Government of Georgia, The Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to operate in round-the-clock regime along with the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) to prevent the possible spread of the new Coronaviruses and closely monitors citizens in self-isolation.
As a result of the joint monitoring activities 14 new facts of violating self-isolation rules have been revealed on March 19.
Citizens from Tbilisi, Imereti, Samegrelo, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Kvemo Kartli and Adjara regions have been transferred to the quarantine zones for violating self-isolation rules.
At this moment 141 persons are placed at the quarantine zone in total for violating rules for self-isolation.
Ministry of Internal Affairs would like to remind citizens that all persons on the territory of Georgia must follow the requirements of the Georgian legislation on public health and respect decisions of Center for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC).
The Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on citizens to demonstrate high public responsibility and comply with mentioned regulations.
