The employees of Guria Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative and investigative actions detained previously convicted M.Ts. (DoB 1955) on charges of premeditated murder.
The committed crime envisions from 10 to 15 years of imprisonment.
During the investigation, it was established that the accused person, on the basis of conflict, inflicted multiple wounds to Z.Ts. (DoB 1975) with a firearm and hid from the scene.
The wounded person was transferred to the hospital, where he died few hours later after the incident.
As a result of the conducted operative and investigative actions, the law enforcement officers arrested the accused person in one of the villages of Ozurgeti municipality.
The investigation is being conducted under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies premeditated murder.
