As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Shida Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested S.A., born in 1975, on charges of attempted premeditated murder committed against two or more persons under aggravating circumstances.
The crime envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
The investigation established that the accused person, on the basis of a mutual dispute, shot two people - a father and son, with a firearm and inflicted several wounds to them. As a result of the injuries sustained, G.Ts., born in 1993, died on the spot, while D.Ts., born in 1970, was taken to a medical facility.
As a result of immediate the investigative actions carried out, law enforcement officers arrested the accused person at the scene of the incident.
The investigation is underway under Article 19-109, Subsection "l" of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
