Officers of Isani-Samgori, Gldani-Nadzaladevi and Old Tbilisi Police Main Divisions of Tbilisi Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operational measures and investigative actions conducted at different times, arrested 4 people on drug charges.
The following persons are detained on charges of illegal purchase, storage, sale, preparation and attempted selling of drugs in a particularly large amount: G.S., born in 1989, G.S., born in 2002, N.K., born in 1999, and R.G., born in 1963, who has a previous conviction and is currently on probation.
The committed crimes envision up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
Based on the judge's ruling, the police carried out several undercover drug purchases and secretly recorded the aforementioned purchases.
As a result of the search of the personal search and search activities conducted in residential apartments and during the investigative experiment, law enforcement officers seized the following drugs for sale from the locations indicated by them as evidence: "Alpha-PVP", "Buprenorphine", "Clephedrone", "Methadone", "Amphetamine", "Methamphetamine" and "MDMA".
An electric scale, adhesive tapes and polyethylene packages were also seized as evidence.
The investigation is in progress under Articles 260, 18-260 and 19-260 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
