Within the frames of training on “Judicial Mechanisms against Domestic Violence” was held in Poti which was aimed at boosting qualification of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Regional Main Division employees.
Within the frames of the project open discussion on domestic violence was held, in the attendance of representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, prosecutor’s office, social service and court. The project is funded by the Organization for Women of the United Nations and Ministry of Internal Affairs as well as by non-governmental organization “National Net for the Protection from Violence”. According to the project trainings for policemen will be held countrywide. With the aim of improving coordination, discussions will be held in the attendance of representatives from various agencies.
