The overall goal: to strengthen legal certainty in the target countries by the enlargement of the ILECUs network and the implementation of common EU standards.
The main objectives: sustainable improvement of national, regional and international cooperation in the field of transnational organized crime; strengthening the rule of law and good governance.
The main activities:
- Strengthen and Safeguard and autonomous head of ILECUs network through the establishment of a rolling ILECUs presidency by the target countries; support and cooperate with SEPCA network.
- The establishment of ILECUs Training System (ILECUs Summer Academy) for ILECUs staff.
- The support of the process for the development of new strategy for SEPCA (South East Police Chief Association).
Geographic Enlargement of the ILECUs in the Republic of Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine by establishing an ILECU in the Republic of Moldova and undertaking feasibility studies into the possibility of establishing ILECUs in Georgia and Ukraine
