At Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs the training on the topic “Efficient Management of the Migrants’ Accommodation Center” was held under the initiative of the Migration Department and organized by “International Organization for Migration”.
The training was held for the employees of the Migration Department, lasted for 5 days and was led by Greg Pidakos –expert from Netherlands. At the training the issues connected with medical service at migrants’ temporary accommodation center, management in crises situations, communications and etc were discussed.
Training participants were awarded with relevant certificates by Mark Richmond representative of the local IOM office, who also wished training participants success. The award ceremony was attended by the Director of Migration Department Zaza Pantsulaia, department and “International Organization for Migration” representatives.
The training was held within the frames of EU funded project- “Capacity Building of the State in Border and Migration Management”. The training was aimed at sharing experience and boosting qualification in the field of illegal migration.
