On January 27, 2014 the delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and met with the representatives of Patrol Police and Central Criminal Police Departments. The visit was organized in the framework of UNODC Global Container Control Program (CCP).
The purpose of the visit was to hold consultations between Kazakhstan’s delegation and representatives from the Georgian law enforcement agencies responsible for CCP to promote regional cooperation. The republic of Kazakhstan is a participant of CCP and is in the process of establishing Control Unit/Task force in Aktau seaport.
