In accordance with the decision of Interagency Coordination Council of the Government of Georgia, in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 disease and actively monitor the citizens, special police infrastructure has been arranged and police checkpoints enacted in Kaspi municipality villages: Igoeti, Samtavisi and Kvemo Chala. Citizens entering or leaving the territory of the premises are subjected to on-site thermal screening and testing if necessary.
The movement to and from the mentioned three villages in the Shida Kartli region and other villages in Kaspi Municipality is not restricted and no other strict quarantine restrictions are imposed.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on citizens to demonstrate high public responsibility, wear face masks and comply with mentioned regulations.
Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducts intensive patrolling of the village to maintain public order and security. All persons on the territory of Georgia must follow requirements of the Georgian legislation on public health.
