The employees of Telavi Police Division of Kakheti Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operational-search measures and investigative activities, detained Sh.J. (DoB 1982) for theft.
The committed crime envisions from 4 to 7 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that the accused person illegally broke into four apartments in the town of Telavi at different times, and illegally appropriated valuable items and cash.
As a result of investigative and operational measures conducted within the frames of the ongoing case, the police arrested Sh.J. as an accused person.
The law enforcement officers seized the stolen items from the apartments as evidence.
The investigation is being carried out under Article 177, Part III, Sub-paragraph "C" of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which refers to theft committed by illegal entry into an apartment.
