Ministry of Internal Affairs has held the event in Gudauri to celebrate the closing of the ski season and successful operation of the ski patrol. Giorgi Mgebrishvili awarded 22 ski patrol officers with certificates of appreciation for the outstanding performance of their duties throughout the ski season.

I assure you that we will make your work conditions even better and boost your professional skills in order to provide citizens with quality service”-stated Minister of Internal Affairs.
Ski patrol has successfully completed the ski season. Beginning from December 21, 2016 and April 2017ski patrol officers rendered help to 474 Georgian and foreign citizens, foiled the facts of disturbance of order and returned more than 200 objects to the legal owners, including mobile phones, photo cameras, wallets and skis.
Ministry decided to implement the mentioned project in 2016 under the initiative of the Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Mgebrishvili. At the first stage pilot project was launched which was followed by the specially trained ski patrol, with special uniform and equipment in all winter resorts of the country, including Gudauri, Bakuriani, Mitarbi, Tetnuldi and Goderdzi resorts to ensure safety of the vacationers and make crime prevention.
