Minister of Internal Affairs awarded a lesion officer to NATO’s Allied Maritime Command (MARCOM)
The Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Mgebrishvili visited Mission of Georgia to Nato, while in Brussels.
In recognition of a border guard’s day the Minister of Interior awarded Lt. Captain Papuna Davitaia with a medal for “Outstanding Achievement and Merit”.
Papuna Davitaia has been working for the Coast Guard Department of the MIA Border Police of Georgia since 2009 and is a Coast Guard Department’s representative to NATO’s Allied Maritime Command (MARCOM) and has been a lesion officer in Northwood, Great Britain since 2014.
The Border Police representative to NATO contributes to cooperation development between NATO and Georgia, as well effective information exchange between MIA and NATO and excellent execution of mutual projects.
