The Minister of Internal Affairs opened a new administrative building of the Security Police in Gori. The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Davit Vardiashvili, the Deputy Minister and Mr. Guram Tomaradze, the Head of the Security Police Department.
The two-storey modern standard building equipped with advanced technical means will be accommodated by the operative response group of the Security Police. 25 officers will work in total in the administrative building.
"It is already the sixth new building for police we have opened after Batumi, Bakuriani, Ureki, Gudauri and Tbilisi (Saburtalo) in Gori in order to improve our employees' working conditions and, therefore, increase the level of security and service for local population” - said Mr. Giorgi Mghebrishvili.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs actively proceeds with construction of new buildings and implementation of other infrastructure projects for improvement the working environment for the police.
