In connection with the terrorist attack in Germany, Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Mgebrishvili sent a letter of condolence to the Minister of Interior of the Republic of Germany Thomas de Maiziere.
“On Behalf of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Georgian people I would like to convey my deepest sorrow in connection with the terrorist attack which took place at the Christmas Market on December 19, 2016 in the center of Berlin, which caused the death of 12 people and left up to 50 civilians injured.
In the time of grief I would like to express my sympathy to the families of the diseased and to all people affected by the terrible terrorist attack. I wish each of them endurance and moral fortitude. We express our strong support to the German people in the fight against terrorism”- is written in the letter.
