The officers of the Adjara police department as a result of the investigative activities held on the basis of the operative information, detained Turkish citizen A.T. (DoB 1991) in Batumi for illegal purchase, keeping and selling of drugs.
Law enforcers detained A. T. in his rental apartment when he sold 199 pills of the so called “ecstasy” drugs for 2400 GEL.
During the personal search of the detainee policemen also seized 10 pills of “ecstasy” and 3 pils of MDMA. Law enforcers additionally seized 40 pills of “ecstasy” and cash received as a result of the drug realization.
In total law enforcers seized 252 pills of the drug substance.
Investigation established that detainee sold drugs on the regular basis.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of for illegal purchase, keeping and selling of drugs, article 260, III part, sub-paragraph A and part V, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
