Training activity series involving representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Prosecutor’s Office and Investigative Department of the Finance Ministry is under way. The working meetings aim at introducing participants to the recommendations of European Commission. In the frames of meetings, prosecutors and investigators will get familiarized with mechanisms of international cooperation, cooperation with Interpol and confiscation of property obtained through criminal in the field of law enforcement.
In the scope of the planned meetings, representatives from MIA and Prosecutor’s Office relevant departments present the reports. The training activity was held in Batumi. Working meetings will last for a month throughout the country.
It’s worth noting, that the implementation of joint trainings, seminars and working meetings that involve investigative agencies, enhances staff’s qualification and increases coordination among agencies. Similar joint training activities in cooperation with relevant agencies will be held in future.
