Director of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia Mamuka Chelidze met with the Regional Director of the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) William Warren.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the successful international event in the field of combat drugs, as a result of which Georgian, Ukrainian and Armenian law enforcers seized 368 kilograms of heroin in the Ukrainian city of Kiev.
The Regional Director of DEA highlighted the contribution of the Georgian Police in the successful conduct of this event and its effective work. William Warren thanked his Georgian colleagues for the close cooperation and successful work in recent years.
For his part, Mamuka Chelidze, the Director of the Central Criminal Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, expressed the gratitude to the DEA representatives for their cooperation and support. He expressed hope that the relationship between the parties will be further strengthened and deepened.
