On November 24, at 11:00 am the Ministry of Internal Affairs is organizing with the support of International Organization for Migration (IOM), donor coordination conference on border management issues which will be held at “Tbilisi Marriott”. The conference will be opened by the Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Tchikaidze, head of Border Police Zurab Gamezardashvili and officials from EU mission to Georgia, US embassy and other ambassadors of other partner states along with leadership of International Organization for Migration (IOM). At the conference activities implemented at Border Police for the recent year will be discussed as well as 5-year modernization and unification program of the mentioned agency.
