Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri, congratulated the veterans on "Veteran's Day" and expressed gratitude for their contributions in ensuring territorial integrity, security and peace of the country.
"Dear veterans, my friends! Congratulations on Veteran's Day! You are the people, who fought for the territorial integrity, security, strength and peace of the country at different times. I would like to express my gratitude and respect to you! Eternal commemoration to the fallen heroes! I wish you health and prosperity!" - stated the Minister of Internal Affairs in his congratulatory speech.
"Veteran's Day" is celebrated in Georgia from 2014.
