Citizens’ Services
1. Issuing notices:

In order to receive a notice, a citizen must complete a requisition in the MIA Archive (Address: 4 Gmiri Kursantebi St; opening hours: 10:00 a.m. -13:00 p.m.) or send the completed requisition by e-mail: archive@mia.gov.ge Service tariffs see here.

2. Access to archival holdings
A citizen may request any document concerning him/her or his/her relatives that is preserved in the Archive of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
In order to get access to archival holdings, a citizen must complete a requisition in the MIA Archive (Address: 4 Gmiri Kursantebi St; opening hours:10:00 a.m. - 13:00 p.m.) or send the completed requisition by email: archive@mia.gov.ge Service tariffs see here.


3. Copying archival holdings
A citizen may request copy of archival holdings. In order to copy archival holdings a citizen must complete a requisition in the MIA Archive (Address: 4 Gmiri Kursantebi St; opening hours: 10:00 a.m. - 13:00 p.m.) or send the completed requisition by e-mail: archive@mia.gov.ge Service tariffs see here.


Researchers’ Services

A researcher may request access to archival holdings. In order to get access to archival holdings, a researcher must complete a requisition in the MIA Archive (Address: 4 Gmiri Kursantebi St; opening hours: 10:00 a.m. - 13:00 p.m.) or send the completed requisition by e-mail: archive@mia.gov.ge Service tariffs see here.

The Archive houses two reading rooms: one in Security Archive (Address: 4 Gmiri Kursantebi St; opening hours: 11:00 a.m. - 18:00p.m.), and the other in Party Archive (Address: 12 Gobronidze St, Mukhiani; opening hours: 11:00 a.m. - 18:00 p.m.). Service tariffs see here.

Organizations’ Services

MIA Archive serves the state organizations for free on the basis of the legislation. The archive may draw up an agreement with academic and non-governmental organizations. Contact us via e-mail: archive@mia.gov.ge


Foreigners’ Services
-

We offer an electronic service to a citizen or a researcher who are not in Georgia. Concerned person must send the completed requisition by e-mail:archive@mia.gov.ge. After the requisition is considered, an estimate and the Archive bank account will be sent to the applicant. After getting the payment, the Archive will provide the applicant with the corresponding service. Service tariffs see here.
