Ministry of Internal Affairs along with the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) is actively monitoring citizens in self-isolation throughout Georgia to prevent the spread of coronavirus. As a result of the joint monitoring, 10 cases of violation of the rules of self-isolation have been revealed within 24 hours.
10 civilians from Kakheti, Kvemo Kartli, Tbilisi, Adjara, Guria, and Imereti regions have been transferred to the quarantine zones for violating self-isolation rules.
At this moment 22 persons were placed at the quarantine zone in total for violating rules for self-isolation.
Ministry of Internal Affairs would like to remind citizens that all persons on the territory of Georgia must follow the requirements of the Georgian legislation on public health and respect decisions of Center for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC).
The Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on citizens to demonstrate high public responsibility and comply with mentioned regulations.
