The officers of Gurjaani police division and Kakheti Regional Main Division as a result of joint immediate operative-investigative activities Iuri Ch. (DoB 1941) was detained for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that in the village of Darcheti, detainee inflicted lethal injury with a cold steel to his wife Natela J. (DoB 194) in his own house. Owninh to the sustained traumas the victim died at the place of crime. As a result of immediate operative-investigative activities police detained Iuri Ch. several minutes later in the same village. The weapon of murder was seized by the law enforcers as evidence. Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code.
