The “Solidarity Fund of Georgia” made the summary presentation of the Fund’s activities in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Archil Talakvadze, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and the heads of various departments and units.
Ms. Mariam Jashi, the Executive Director of the Solidarity Fund talked about the activities carried out by the Fund in details and expressed special gratitude to each employee of the MIA for their support. Donation to the Solidarity Fund is regularly contributed by more than 16 thousand employees of the MIA. Their contribution to the Fund exceeds 60 thousand GELs monthly. At the same time, with the support of the charity social project of the Service Agency of the MIA more than 40 thousand GELs has been transferred to the Solidarity Fund.
In total the Solidarity Fund of Georgia managed to mobilize 5 963 960 GEL to February 29 (inclusive), 2016 with the help of more than 55 000 supporters and 24 private companies.
