The representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the “Georgian Alliance for Safe Roads” held the lesson on road safety in Tbilisi #8 Public School. The action was held within the MIA’s road safety campaign “For Your Own Sake, For Your Safety”.
The employees of the Patrol Police of the MIA and the Alliance arranged the imitation of a street in the hall where they placed the road signs, traffic lights and zebra crossings. The 5th grade pupils participated in practical exercises; they learned traffic rules and got the necessary information about road safety. The representatives of the MIA and the Alliance gave full answers to the pupils’ questions.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs launched the large-scale road safety social campaign in 2015. The campaign aims to prevent accidents and raise public awareness of road safety.
