Chief of Imereti, Racha-lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Regional main Division Zaza Chubinidze along with head of Imereti Forensic division Ramaz Gogelia and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs met with pupils from the public school N1 of Kutaisi within the frames of anti-drug campaign. MIA representatives familiarized pupils from 9th, 10th and 11th grades with social campaign launched against synthetic drugs and participated in Q&A format meeting with them. Along with MIA representatives the meeting was also attended by Kutaisi Major Shota Murghulia and Governor Zaza Meparaishvili.
During the meeting MIA representatives presented video to the pupils, made for the anti-drug campaign. Doctors who participated in social videos inform public on threats and dangers of the so called bio drugs. Social videos have been aired by TV channels and radios and shown at cinemas and disseminated in social networks.
At the meeting, within the frames of the campaign, policemen also presented informative video prepared by Emergency Response Center 112 by means of which society will receive information on first symptoms typical after using “bio” narcotics. Public will also receive information on inevitability to call ambulance after detecting first signs of synthetic drugs addiction.
Ministry of Internal Affairs launched anti-drug campaign on March 24. Slogan of the campaign is “Changing Attitude Together”. Aim of the campaign is the prevention of the use of synthetic narcotics and providing public with information on the mentioned subject.
