Director of MIA Emergency Situations Management Department Zviad Katsashvili and his deputy GGGiiiorgi Gazdeliani met representatives of the US Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in particular, Paata Enukidze, Marc Rodzinski, Cristopher Floid and David Alli.
At the meeting guests were familiarized with functions of MIA Emergency Situations Management Department, tasks and legislation applied during emergency situations.
Within the frames of nuclear threats mitigation program, at the meeting sides also discussed the issue of re-training and providing CBRN groups with proper equipment.
