Interagency delegation from Tajikistan visited the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The visit was carried out under the organization of United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Tajikistan office.
Representatives of the various Ministries of Tajikistan held meetings with MIA Border Police and Patrol Police Department, where they got familiarized with reforms held in border management integration as well as ongoing and planned projects.
Guests also visited Tbilisi International Airport, Sadakhlo and Red bridge border sectors and border crossing points, where they received comprehensive information on passport control, border security standards and passenger examination rules.
Within the frames of the visit members of the delegation also visited MIA Academy. Guests got acquainted with study programs, training and re-training courses, academy base and took part in simulation trainings.
The aim of the visit was to share experience of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the sphere of Integrated Border Management, Border Training Programs, the fight against drug control and corruption on the border.
