Representatives of the European Union Monitoring Mission in Georgia (EUMM) visited Akhaltsikhe base of Samtskhe-Javakheti Regional Division of the MIA Strategic Pipelines Protection Department. Visitors were hosted by the Director of the Strategic Pipelines Protection Department of Ministry of Internal Affairs.
During the meeting operation of the Strategic Pipelines Protection Department was introduced in detail to the visitors as well as protection measures provided to ensure security of the strategic pipelines traversing Georgia.
Ministry of Internal Affairs and European Union Monitoring Mission in Georgia have a longstanding fruitful cooperation.
