The MIA Border Police Operative-Investigation Main Office, Land Border Defence Department and Counter-Terrorist Centre of the State Security Service carried out special joint operation and detained ten citizens of the Republic of Somali on the territory of N5 Border Sector (Niala) and N6 Border Sector (Kartsakhi) of the MIA Border Police N2 Office (Akhaltsikhe) when they attempted to cross the State border of Georgia illegally in groups.
The Border Police Operative-Investigation Main office is carrying out investigation on the above-mentioned fact according to the Criminal Code of Georgia, Article 19, 344, Part II, Sub-paragraph A.
