The Border policemen from the Land Border Defence Department carried out operation and detained six citizens of the Republic of Bangladesh on the territory of N5 Border Sector (Nialai) of the MIA Border Police N2 Office (Akhaltsikhe).
Investigation established that the suspects had been attempting to cross the State Border of Georgia illegally in groups without official border control from Georgia to the Republic of Turkey.
Investigation is ongoing on the above-mentioned fact according to the Criminal Code of Georgia, Article 19-344, Part II, Subparagraph A.
