Today, Mr. Gocha Ratiani, the Director of the Information-Analytical Department of the MIA and other representatives of the Department held the meeting with the Head of the EU Monitoring Mission to Georgia Mr. Toivo Klaar and the liaison officer Mr. Sergej Makarov.
During the meeting the parties discussed the current situation in the region, ongoing issues and future mutual cooperation perspectives.
The parties focused on the importance of the meetings conducted within the frames of incidents prevention and reaction mechanisms; also the issues of specificity of s.c hotline operated for solution of the local population`s problems and the security related matters were discussed.
